Eck, Getter & Greenwell Wealth Management, located in Cincinnati, Ohio, is seeking an Associate Financial Advisor to join their growing and successful team. The associate FA will gather data and perform analysis, develop plan recommendations and implement & manage client portfolios. You will also maintain existing accounts, allowing the team to focus on building their practice and client relationships. Finally, through daily interaction with established clients, you will strengthen and retain relationships, while cultivating new clients through position referral.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as primary back-up to Financial Advisors; assist with trading and strategizing to best accomplish various objectives; serve as direct support to Financial Advisors and Partners by providing advice and ongoing analysis
  • Create financial plans and complete wealth management analysis
  • Correctly document all client and prospective client conversations and business actions into the dashboard system; create and maintain client files; prepare and send follow-up client letters
  • Maintain up-to-date client data in the contact management system and contact database for purposes of reporting, scheduling, fee tracking and marketing purposes
  • Monitor financial strategies and investments and complete appropriate implementation in a timely manner
  • Correspond with or meet with wholesalers to remain up-to-date on funds and applicable strategies to aid in providing insight on funds and answering client questions
  • Read and maintain current knowledge base for rule changes and strategies
  • Oversee and provide support to pre-client-meeting preparation and post-client-meeting processing work
  • Attend client meetings; take, assemble and transcribe notes relative to action items, tasks and decisions made during appointments; monitor and follow up with all pending action items
  • Serve as primary contact for onsite technology support for the office (ACT, CRM, Shared files); manage electronic filing and ongoing maintenance of client paperwork stored on the company’s server
  • Participate in the business development process as needed with prospective clients
  • Mentor with Partner’s to gain marketing knowledge and hands-on experience for personal and professional growth

Required Qualifications:
  • Ability to successfully obtain FINRA License Series 7 and 66 within defined period of time (Required); obtain FINRA Series 24 and/or 65 (Preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or another related field
  • 2+ Years in support or client relations position; Financial Services industry experience and/or sales experience is preferred

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, pro-rata, percentages, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic accounting
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form
  • Working knowledge of computer programs; advanced technological skills; current knowledge of MS Office is preferred
  • Ability to understand Partner's business plan and Partner's assumptions regarding the range of possible future rate conditions for which to prepare
