Human Resources Generalist – Full Time

Myriad Advisor Solutions is looking for a passionate and energetic Human Resources Generalist (“Generalist”) to join our team! The ideal candidate will be motivated to learn new skills and tactics that relate to Human Resources, Recruiting, and Payroll. They must be able to interact with executives, salespeople, clients and prospective clients. They will have a strong analytical, problem solving skill set as well as be comfortable managing change in a fast-paced environment. This is a hands-on position responsible for leading the development and execution of many aspects of Human Resources.


The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Preparing new-hire paperwork; take ownership in and continuous improvement of the employee onboarding process; maintain employee records
  • Recommend and administer new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed internally and within the client community
  • Supports administration of HR policies, process and procedures; communication in clear fashion to all staff and clients; maintain professional with all interactions
  • Responsible for administering and maintain employee benefits programs, review time sheets for accuracy, and provide support to employee
  • Creation and administration of employee handbooks; Understanding and ability to provide clarity as it pertains to the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures


  • Coordinate job posting on the appropriate job boards, reviewing resumes to evaluate if they meet the position requirements, conduct phone screening interview to gather a pulse on the candidate for internal teams or external clients
  • Establishing a recruiting and interviewing program, maintaining a work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for internal and external positions
  • Contacting candidates to schedule phone screenings and interviews; document candidate status accurately and timely; communication status of recruiting with client point of contact
  • Conduct regular follow-up meetings with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation

Welfare Plan Administration

  • Supports administration of employee benefits programs
  • Informs employees of benefit offerings; serves as a client/employee resource for benefit questions
  • Aids in new hire and annual benefit enrollment process; ensures enrollment confirmation and accurate provider invoicing
  • Remains current on benefit offerings by studying and assessing client benefit needs and industry trends
  • Serves as a point of contact for directing the processing of benefit claims
  • Actively engaged with designing and conducting educational programs on benefit offerings

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communications, Marketing, Business or related field preferred; associates in relevant field and/or life experience will be considered
  • Firsthand, interactive recruiting experience required; actively maintaining listing of approved positions
  • Minimum of 2 years of direct Human Resource related experience
  • Experience with payroll and benefits is desired
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience with handling personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
  • Relevant experience in maintaining employee records up to date by processing employee status changes in timely fashion.
  • A strong understanding of state and federal requirements and regulations; on a national level is a plus
  • Experience in preparing new-hire paperwork and general HR administrative management is preferred
