Myriad Advisor Solutions, located in Clive, Iowa, is seeking an experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our established and growing Tech team. A Glimpse of the Position Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced remote technical guidance, assistance and coordination to end-users for PC, server, network and hardware problems
  • Provide professional, timely and exception communication with internal and extern contacts both written and oral
  • Address and resolve advanced issues escalated by Level 1 Support Specialist
  • Collaborate with department personnel and ensure there are solutions for all client IT issues.
  • Ability to display dependability through IT Help Desk shift coverage spanning Monday-Friday 7am-7pm CST; Weekend and on-call coverage as needed
  • Create, build and foster strong and effective working relationships with peers, management, clients, and vendors

Education and Experience Preferred
  • Associates degree preferred; completed college coursework in conjunction with work experience will also be considered; advanced education in Information Technology related field is ideal
  • Solid understanding and advanced usage experience with technology in general
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows 7/10, and a willingness and capacity to learn new operating systems
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of core network technologies (WiFi, routers, switches, etc.)
  • Proven to advanced knowledge of PC hardware components/technology (CPUs, hard drives, RAM, peripherals, video/monitors/Bluetooth, etc)
  • 2+ years of Level 2 Tech support experience preferred
  • Experience in a team environment with elevated technical and organizational responsibilities
  • Daily tasks include, but are not limited to, configuring, testing, and troubleshooting network and wireless issues, setting up user accounts, and formatting/setting up desktop and laptop computers
