POSITION SUMMARY

Horizon Agency, located in Eden Prairie, MN is seeking a Senior Account Manager to join our premier Agency. This is an exciting opportunity for candidates who have advanced industry experience related to Property and Casualty account management, brokerage operations and/or marketing with a multi-line insurance agency. In addition to industry experience, Horizon is seeking individuals who display passion about the company and clients they serve. The Sr Account Manager is responsible for working in direct collaboration with Horizon Producers to proactively and effectively service and support existing clients, aid in retention of new and renewal accounts, and to consistently uphold Horizon’s exceptional service standards. Highlights of the responsibilities of the Sr. Account Manager include, but are not limited to:
  • Day to day client servicing of Horizon’s premier accounts which includes analyzing the needs of the clients, accurately answering questions regarding coverage, policy change quotes, and promptly process of endorsements and claim requests
  • Politely and promptly answering new business calls and promptly addressing client requests, as appropriate
  • Timely completing applications for designated new and renewal
  • Broadly participates in the retention and growth of the assigned book of business
  • Directly manages review of designated accounts; process and confirms collection of all audits
  • Actively manage outstanding claims; advise management of outstanding claims and assist in claims resolution as needed

 
The Qualifications of This Role Are:
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in property & casualty account management; marketing with a multi-line insurance agency or brokerage operation is required
  • Technical insurance knowledge with proven understanding of Property and Casualty coverage definitions
  • CISR designation and/or equivalent is required
  • Insurance licensed within State of Minnesota, preferred or willingness to obtain
