Telecom Project Manager – Full Time

The Telecom Project Manager will manage all telecom projects for Myriad. The Telecom Project Manager will work as post sales point of contact and will be familiar with basic telephony, hosted VoIP. The Telecom Project Manager will work closely with our telecom partners and carriers to ensure on-time installation, configuration and training of new phone systems and services.


The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Coordinate Wiring Site Survey information to Wiring Partner, assist with quote and installation
  • Complete new order forms for internet service providers and carriers
  • Enter orders and client information into internal CRM/Project Management tools
  • Secure configuration, ring groups and call routing from client
  • Secure headset information – facilitate order if necessary
  • Provide basic configuration and operational support
  • Follow new orders through to implementation
  • Assist onsite installers where needed
  • Facilitate account migrations and audits of existing of services
  • Train clients on new phone systems after installation
  • Perform routine adds, moves and changes
  • Accurately document details related to client support issues in help desk ticketing system and complete ticket/tasks efficiently

  • Associates degree preferred; completed college coursework in conjunction with work experience will also be considered
  • Two years of experience in telecommunication
  • Prior Account/Project Management experience or Customer Service preferable
  • Education in Telecom and/or relevant telecom industry work experience
  • Strong client service skills, first-hand experience interacting directly with customers; a genuine interest in serving and caring for our clients
  • Strong professional phone etiquette
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft suite, and a willingness to learn new operating systems
