Billing Specialist – Full Time

Myriad Advisor Solutions is in search of a Billing Specialist to join our dynamic team! As an integral part of our firm, the Billing Specialist will undertake a variety of financial and non-financial tasks in order to help guarantee the company’s revenues. This position will be responsible for invoicing clients; processing all incoming payments; and conducting internal and client expense/expense audits. The Billing Specialist will actively engage with clients to provide explanation and problem resolution for questions relating to invoices and payments.


While not all inclusive, further detail the accountabilities of the Billing Specialist position:

  • Manage the status of accounts and balances and identify inconsistencies
  • Manage monthly subscriptions and billings updates
  • Assume the responsibility of receiving and sorting incoming payments; Issue and post bills, receipts and invoices
  • Audit invoices received to billing
  • Assist management with reporting
  • Create and maintain individual client files, prepare client invoice and payment history, as requested
  • Update accounts receivable database with new accounts or missed payments
  • Organize workload for efficient time management and meet multiple scheduled deadlines on time
  • Provide answers and resolution to relative client problems
  • Support purchasing department with quoting, as needed
  • Assist purchasing department with return claims
  • Address client communications via phone and electronically in a friendly, sincere and professional manner

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred; completed college coursework in conjunction with work experience will also be considered
  • 3+ Years’ experience in finance or any related field including billing, accounting, purchasing, mathematics etc.
  • Advanced computer skills including MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong client service skills
  • High degree of attention to detail and accuracy skills
  • Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
