We know what you’re thinking. September is way too early to be thinking about Thanksgiving and Christmas. While we certainly don’t disagree – especially when we have yet to enjoy Spooky Season in October – it really is never too early to plan your marketing efforts for your holiday client outreach. Good things take time, which means waiting to start can impede your efforts and the overall quality of the final product.
Throughout our time helping countless small businesses coordinate holiday cards that are *just right,* the in-house Marketing Team at Myriad Advisor Solutions has discovered many clients don’t understand the true timeframe needed to create, design, order, and ship cards. If you might be in that boat, read our team’s reasonable estimates for the timeframe in each step of this process below! Please note that these times are estimates and could be longer (or shorter!) depending on several different factors.
Creation/Design/Compliance: 2 – 3 Weeks
After e-mailing email@example.com with your request, our team connects with you to iron out the details like format (postcard, card, or letter) as well as content that reflects your practice’s personality.
Printing/Shipping: 3 - 4 Weeks
The critical thing to keep in mind about print & shipping times is that they depend on the format. For example, regular holiday cards take about 2 weeks to print and ship. Envelopes for those cards might take 3 weeks, however, and custom envelopes can take up to four weeks.
What’s more - printing and shipping times can especially vary around the holidays. All the more reason to begin this process as soon as possible! Fortunately, no matter what the project, our account managers keep you updated & informed on when to expect your order!
Advanced planning is a good idea for all your marketing & branding efforts, but never more so than with your holiday messaging. If you don’t know where to start, simply reach out to Myriad at firstname.lastname@example.org and let us handle this critical part of your branding for you!
